Welcome to the Rutgers Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Meet the "Scribing Knight"! The Rutgers chapter is part of the national SPJ, the largest society of journalists in the United States. Rutgers-New Brunswick is an ideal place to learn about journalism because of the strong Department of Journalism and Media Studies, the excellent campus publications, and the proximity to New York, America's chief media center. Students who join SPJ get a leg up on others who need to learn about the craft and to meet the people who already work in journalism.
